Overview
Leadership that benefits everyone it touches.

In “Leadership With Goodness at Its Core,” Doug Smith has created a guide for leaders to create value not just in financial terms, but in human terms as well. True leadership is not grabbed or even granted, it is earned and it is earned by consistently acting in the best interest of all constituents … employees and their families, customers, owners, the communities within which they operate and the world we all inhabit. Such leaders lead more from conscience than ego, from abundance more than scarcity, win/win more than win/lose, from significance more than status. These leaders tap into the fundamental human desire for transcendence, the desire to be involved in something larger than self, larger than mere self-interest. They are inspired, not driven, and lead with their heads, their hearts and their souls. Such leadership creates engagement, arouses passion and dedication, garners loyalty and in so doing results in organizational resilience, growth and better performance. Such leadership enhances the lives of everyone it touches.
