Overview
Martin Heidegger, perhaps the greatest philosopher of the twentieth century, indicated in his journal late in his life that only when people from around the world would discover and embrace the teachings of Shinran conveyed in the classic Tannisho, world peace would finally begin to seem achievable, and the foundation would be laid for establishing the civilization of the twenty-first century.”

This book explains the message of Tannisho, which has attracted so much attention, through an analogy so that even beginners in Buddhism will understand it. It is a much-awaited Buddhist book for people in the Chinese-speaking world, as it describes Amida Buddha and Namu Amida Butsu in detail.
