Overview

Not only are there an astonishingly ten quintillion (10,000,000,000,000,000,000) insects alive at any one time – they have been around for some 400 million years! Even before dinosaurs roamed the planet. Discover a hidden world; from the very tiny micro bugs that can only be seen under a microscope to the giant Goliath Bird Eating Tarantula. Here are some seriously smart creatures.

You’ll find that:

  • some termite queens lay up to 40,000 eggs a day
  • fleas can jump 30,000 times non-stop
  • spiders that look like bird dropping or beetles
  • all the world’s ants weigh more than all the people in the world
  • And much more!

Dramatic photography mixed with comic-style art and humming facts on what makes these amazing creatures so awesome and why they are so important to our natural world. Insects rule. OK?
