Overview

Just think – everything you do (and think!) – is handled by the extraordinary computer inside your head. Your heart beats more than once every second. Ber-boom. What happens to every yummy mouthful from the moment you chew it? How your muscles let you run, jump – or just stay still to read this book! Let the knowledgeable and funny Stickmen show you around – inside you and out! Find out why

  • lightning reflexes keep you safe
  • burly white cells fight off bugs
  • the army of acids in your stomach digest your food
  • bones are really soft inside – and they-re always busy!

Along the way you’ll discover the longest and strongest muscle, how poo is manufactured, why you need two trillion blood cells, which part of your brain has your bright ideas! Clear cut-away illustrations and fact-filled nuggets of text reveal the many, many reasons why you-re so special.
