Author Bio
Jan Eliot started cartooning when she was a young working mom trying to make ends meet and still have fun once in a while. Her early efforts resulted in the comic strip "Patience and Sarah" which appeared in weekly publications for 5 years. Her second comic strip, "Stone Soup", began as a weekly but moved to national daily distribution in 1995. Eliot writes from her own life, the lives of her friends, and the unsuspecting public around her. She lives with her husband Ted. Her daughters are grown with families of their own.
