Author Bio
Dr. Stutman has done extensive research in the fields of exercise physiology, diet and nutrition at the U.S. Naval Air Development Center and in his private medical practice. As a Medical Officer in the U.S Air Force, Dr. Stutman started one of the nation’s first walking programs for cardiac rehabilitation patients. He is the author of twelve books and numerous medical articles on diet, nutrition and exercise. Following the publication of his book entitled, The Doctor’s Walking Book, he became known as "Dr. Walk." His books have been featured in national and international publications, including recent feature cover articles in Woman’s World Magazine and First Magazine for Women. He has appeared on national radio and TV, including The Today Show and Good Morning America. Dr. Stutman currently practices Family Medicine as part of the Temple University Health System in Philadelphia.
