"An artist and writer, Kathrin Burleson was born in Petaluma, California, and has lived most of her life in Northern California. Whether painting people, animals, or liturgical themes, her work explores the interconnectedness of all of creation.
The recipient of numerous awards, she has exhibited her work in museums, galleries, and churches throughout the United States.
Kathrin is a founding member of Saints Martha and Mary Episcopal Mission, Trinidad, California, and is an associate of the Community of the Transfiguration, a religious community for women in The Episcopal Church.
